The Beginning of Changing Thoughts

Back in September of 2010 I was informed that the biopsy results for the sore on my arm was squamous cell carcinoma, the big "C".  I informed the caller at the other end of the line that she was mistaken, and questioned her "is there such a thing as a false positive?" She wanted me to schedule an appointment to have it surgically removed.  This didn't resonate well with me, thoughts ran through my head... I am a vegan of 19 years, I don't eat meats or any animal products, I take pride in taking care of myself.  Hmmm, I will never get cancer!  How can this be, especially on my lower forearm where you don't get sunburned?  (I still believed it was a false positive.  I felt that I was bitten by a spider because one night in May of 2010 I was going to bed, the lights were already off, I felt a pinch on my arm that I scratched and wondered "what was that?"  I was tired and thought I will look at it in the morning.  The next day I had a small round red welt on my arm that didn't go away.  So by September I decided to get it checked out.)

I researched online for further information, studies and other people's results, situations and circumstances with the same diagnosis.  I even called a master herbalist and discussed my concerns and issues.  Needless to say I added some herbal remedies to my daily regiment to strengthen my immune system.  I thought about my thoughts and about the things I didn't want in my life.  It seemed that I apparently attracted them anyways. Hmmm, what I thought about even if I didn't want it I attracted it?  (more about this later)

A couple of days later my daughter Avery called me and asked if I have seen The Secret yet, she said she just watched it last night night.  I asked "what is it about?"  She informed me it was a film about positive thinking and the Law of Attraction. I stated that I will have to look into this, thanks!  It sounded very interesting.   I did my usual research and read the reviews, I tried to find it on youtube but only found the trailer which I watched.  I even went to the local DVD rental box but couldn't find it, I will have to buy it.  

The next day at work in the hallway one of my co-workers had a sad look on her face so I wished and gave her positive energies.  She said, "did you ever hear of The Secret?"  Ahhh yes, just yesterday my daughter told me about it, I am going to have to buy it.  She stated, I have the DVD and wanted to give it to someone, you can have it!  WOW there I go again.  I wanted it and it came to me!  Hmmm...

I have read many books, watched many movies and talked about this with others.  I would like to spread the word about this as much as I can to help others overcome obstacles, negative influences and experiences in their life and to reprogram their negative thoughts and beliefs.  I am learning new things everyday and would like to share them with you and would love to learn what you have learned and what your experiences are.  Please let me know what you think about this I would love to hear your comments.
